I checked this as someone was on about it in chat. You can't have full-screen window mode, true. You can, though, have a resolution which fits a full-screen size window with borders in a normal full screen. My monitor is 1920x 1080, I think the biggest window resolution was something like 1904x1010 or suchlike: full size with border and the windows taskbar. I didn't check what happens if you have the taskbar set to auto-hide. Now, that's not borderless and not.quite. full-screen, but it's close enough in my opinion, if you need to play windowed for some reason - you're only losing a few pixels around the edges.

I assume other monitors generate a similar max window resolution, I can't check that here.If the best you could get on a full hd monitor was 1600x900 windowed as it is with some games, then I would see it as a much more valid complaint.
